Personal Signal

In 2025 Commodore Cross of the New York Yacht Club, along with Protocol Officer CAPT Nick Brown, USN (Ret.), and Matt Brooks, former chair of the NYYC Foundation (and owner of Dorade), put into motion plans to reinvigorate the tradition of member private signals. Ponyo’s Paul Koch worked with the designers to develop his own personal signal, a stylized peacock feather. The design was a play on his name: P. Koch, morphing into Peacock.
